HI I’M KAYLEE GRONVOLD
Let me introduce myself! I am a Registered Nurse living in Fargo, ND with my husband and cat (Cooper). I was born and raised in North Dakota, and would love the opportunity to work with you and your furry friends!
Now, you may be wondering why pet care? I have always been passionate about pet care even as a child. Ever since I was able to walk I can remember being drawn to all animals. Almost all my childhood photos include a cat, dog, snake, chicken, hamster, or bird!
However, this past year has been especially hard for our family, as my cat Cooper was diagnosed with an aggressive form of intestinal lymphoma. Upon receiving this diagnosis my entire mindset shifted, and I was going to do everything possible to care for my little man. This meant multiple emergency vet visits, lab tests, procedures, overnight hospital stays, sleepless nights, and medication administration. Once we were able to take Cooper home, our daily life changed. Cooper required more care, round the clock medication administration, adjustments to his food/supplements, vital sign checks, weight checks, and especially breathing assessments (which I did at home with my stethoscope). This cancer journey has been quite difficult at times, but has made me realize what I am truly passionate about.
This was the beginning of a beautiful idea. I thought to myself, “I bet other pet parents could use some support.” Whether that be normal day to day activities such as extra playtime, grooming, feeding, cuddles and walks, or your pet may require more specialized care such as medication administration, injections, blood sugar checks or vital sign monitoring.
